The Class 4A #15 Knoxville Volleyball Squad completely dominated Chariton to open up South Central Conference play Tuesday night with a three sets to none sweep 25-5, 25-8, and 25-15. Knoxville controlled set one jumping out to an 8-0 lead with the serving of Maggie Wilkins and closed the set on a 13-1 run. Set two was similar in dominance as the Panthers closed out the set with a 15-0 nothing run lead by the serving of Amy Sullivan who served out the final ten points. Set three was a more back and forth until Knoxville found its traction and to ace the final two points. The team had 18 ace serves. Senior player Katie Keitges tells KRLS Sports she is excited to see where her teammates can go this season. The Panthers are now 8-0 to start the season and are off until Tuesday when Albia comes to town.
