The Pleasantville volleyball team continued their West Central Conference slate Tuesday evening, traveling to take on Madrid. It started out as a tight match, but Pleasantville made the right plays down the stretch and dominated set 3 for the sweep. The Trojans avenged last year’s loss to Madrid with a 25-17, 25-22, 25-10 win in the home opener for the Tigers.
Pleasantville improves to 2-1 with the win while Madrid drops to 1-2. It’ll be a long break for the Trojans until their next action. They’ll head to a triangular at Clarke, Osceola on Thursday, September 12th.
