The Pella City Council received a presentation Tuesday from Harvest Investments about a planned housing development at Bos Landen Golf Course. The group came to council during policy and planning to change plans approved last year for a 40 unit cooperative for those 55 and over. City Administrator Mike Nardini says Harvest Investments couldn’t make the initial plan financially viable, and instead proposed a new housing complex and community for the same age group, but would be 20 units less with bigger single family homes planned instead. Council asked several questions about the new complex and raised several concerns Tuesday. No formal action was taken to change the development agreement approved last year.
