The Pleasantville cross country teams will start their season in earnest this afternoon after the early season tune up at Iowa State. The Trojans will run against a plethora of area schools when they travel to the Wayne Meet in Corydon. Trenton Major was Pleasantville’s top boys runner at Iowa State while Hailee McCormick paced the girls. They’ll look to help lead their team once again tonight as the bulk of the season approaches. The varsity races get underway at 5:00 this afternoon.
