indianola-3

A loss to Norwalk in week one is in the past for the Indianola football team, as the Indians will travel to Des Moines Hoover looking for their first win of the season tonight. Hoover also fell in their season opener last week to Des Moines Roosevelt 46-13, and only rushed for 9 total yards. Despite not scoring a touchdown, there were many positives the Indians take away from week one, namely 220 yards of total offense from sophomore running back Kael Kolarik, and head coach Eric Kluver tells KNIA Sports the defense played really well despite not always being in a position to succeed. Action can be heard live tonight on 94.3 KNIA, with Andrew Swadner and Rick Wilson on the play-by-play, with pregame coverage beginning at 6:30pm and kickoff scheduled for 7pm.
