After a thrilling overtime win against Newton last week the PCM Mustangs look to take on the West Marshall Trojans tonight at Central College. The Mustangs will look to move to 2-0 against a Trojan squad still looking for their first win of the season after a close 14-7 loss at Williamsburg last week. If the Mustang want to come out of tonight’s game with another win, Head Coach Greg Bonnett tells KNIA/KRLS Sports it will all be decided in the trenches. Bonnett says the Trojan offensive line is a tenacious one, and if his guys are going to have any success they can not be blown out of gaps or it will be a long night. If the Mustangs can control the line of scrimmage they will then need to focus on bottling up a pair of brother running backs. The Trojan brothers, senior Peyton Pope and sophomore Preston Pope carried the ball a combined 32 times for 197 yards and a touchdown against Williamsburg. The Mustangs will also look to be more productive on the ground only rushing for a combined 152 yards against Newton. The Mustangs and the Trojans will kick things off tonight from Central College at 7:30 with pregame slotted for 6:30 on our KRLS3 stream.
