The Marion County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session today, and will hold three public hearings, among other matters. They will hold a hearing on a proposed zoning map amendment that will allow for an organic vegetable farm and event venue for Sanctuary Garden Farms. A public hearing will be held regarding a change for a property from highway commercial to family residential. They will also consider vacating all or part of road rights of way on a segment of Jesup Drive. The board will discuss and take possible action regarding the site plan for the expansion of property located at 1645 Highway 163 in Otley. They will consider a resolution for approval and authorization for execution by the county engineer of two agreements with the Iowa Department of Transportation for the Living Roadway Trust Fund Grant. The meeting will begin at 9am and will be held inside the Marion County Courthouse.
