Four spots are open for the Indianola School Board for the upcoming election this November, as Dacni Gabel, Kariann Voigts, Jay Wilkinson, and Rene Staudacher are all up for re-election. Superintendent Art Sathoff tells KNIA News he encourages anyone interested in having a say in how the school district is run to go for a spot.
“So far we have six people filing for the four spots, so that is great that there is that amount of interest. It is a big responsibility and a big time commitment, but I do think that it is some of the very best volunteer service one can do and it will really have an impact on our kids and their education.”
Sathoff also said that if anyone is interested, to stop by the district office and talk with Business Manager Johna Clancy.
