The Pella Christian vs. PCM football game will be played at Central College this week at 7:30 p.m. The game can be heard live on both 92.1 KRLS and the KRLS3 stream.

The following message is a statement sent by the PCM School District:

“During the 1980’s there was a slogan used by the Heinz brand that stated, “The best things come to those who wait”. This slogan’s main theme was that people would wait for their ketchup to slowly pour out of its bottle in anticipation for a quality taste.

This same slogan applies to the unveiling of our athletic complex as well. The progress of the complex has been slow and there has been much anticipation to experience the final product. While there has been some progress made on the field, there are still some other critical aspects that still need to be completed. Some are related to player and spectator safety, while others are directly related to the quality of the experience for the fans. Therefore, due to the slower than anticipated progress, we will be hosting the Pella Christian game at Central College on Friday, September 20, 2019. While this information is disappointing, we are thankful that Central College has been accommodating in letting us use their field for home games.

The district is planning to unveil the stadium the week of Homecoming. The Homecoming game will be played at the athletic complex on Friday, October 4th. There is not a better scenario for homecoming! The anticipation of unveiling a new athletic complex, community excitement, and student preparation and participation will make the wait worth every moment!”
