Democratic Party Presidential Candidate Pete Buttigieg opened up a campaign office in Indianola Saturday morning, the second candidate to do so after Elizabeth Warren opened an office in August. Campaign manager Mike Schmuhl was at the opening, and tells KNIA News the office was one of 20 being opened across the state over the next week, and he believes Pete brings a different aspect to his candidacy that others lack

“Pete is the most courageous person I know. I’ve known him for over 20 years and time and time again he just exhibits so much courage. From running for mayor, serving in the military, running for president, over and over again he just exhibits civility, decency, and courage. And I think that courage is really lacking in our country right now to tackle some of our biggest problems.”

The office is located at 1709 N Jefferson Way Suite 700.
