A very warm and humid evening to run for area cross country squads as three area teams were at Grinnell on Tuesday. Williamsburg swept the team titles while Twin Cedars placed fifth in the girls event placing two runners in the top 20 and Cheyenne Bruns in 17th in 23:09. Rylee Dunkin was third with a time of 20:53, Pella Christian placed ninth with Annaliese Admiraal coming in 18th with a time of 23:10, and Knoxville was right behind in tenth with Jade Six pacing the Panthers with a 39th place finish in 25:17. On the boys side, Knoxville was the only area team that was able to score and the Panthers placed seventh with Jordan Bacon leading the way in 21st in a time of 19:30. Pella Christian’s Daniel Mora Demestri crossed the finish line in 26th with a time of 19:40, while Twin Cedars lone boys runner Andrew Freel had a time of 25:38.
