It was not as easy as some may have thought, but the class 4A #9 Knoxville Volleyball Squad wrapped up another South Central Conference win with a three sets to none win over Davis County on Tuesday night. The Panthers took the three sets 25-20, 25-20, and 25-12. In the second set, Knoxville trailed at one point 18-11 and then behind the serving of Amy Sullivan rallied for nine straight points to take a 20-18 lead and closed the set on a 14-2 run. Katie Keitges put down 12 kills, Marley McKay had 25 helpers, Maggie Wilkins came up with 17 digs and Sullivan was 24/27 with two aces. Knoxville remains unbeaten at 10-0 and 3-0 in the conference. The Panthers finally have their first Saturday event of the season as they travel to Keokuk on Saturday.
