Football fans will likely stay dry tonight, however, those with outdoor plans Saturday evening may have a washout. A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for Marion County and areas south and east from 7 p.m. Saturday through 7 a.m. Sunday morning. Rounds of precipitation during those times may produce rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches, with locally higher amounts possible. Rain rates may approach 2 inches per hour at times as well.

A slight risk of excessive severe weather is also in the forecast Saturday, according to the National Weather Service. Damaging winds and localized flash flooding will be the primary threat, mainly in the evening and overnight hours into early Sunday morning.
