The Knoxville School Board will meet in regular session tomorrow. The board will consider the hiring of Carla Smith as the Head Varsity Softball Coach. They will consider a late open enrollment request as well as a Facilities Task Force proposal. The board will consider a contract with CMBA  Architects as well as School Improvement Advisory Committee Members. They will consider bids for a school bus purchase as well as consider a resolution for a request for allowable growth and supplemental aid for a negative special education balance. They will consider the second reading of the Series 600 Policies regarding goals and objectives. A closed session will also be held to discuss the purchase or sale of particular real estate, but only when premature disclosure could be reasonably expected to increase the price the board would have to pay for the property, or in case of a sale reduces the price the board could receive for the property. The meeting will begin at 5:30 pm at the districts administrative offices.
