Despite a few sprinkles the 2019 Nana Jana 5k Fun Run was held at Dan-D Farms Saturday. The run featured close to 100 participants who braved the obstacles and mud to help bring awareness about ovarian cancer. Owner of Dan-D Farms and Organizer of the run Dan Dennison tells KNIA/KRLS News with so many participants again this year even with the rain it shows they like to have fun. Dennison says the people of Knoxville and the surrounding area understand causes and they always come out to support a great cause. Participants were treated to a complimentary meal of pancakes and sausage courtesy of the Knoxville Lions Club as well as coffee provided by the Coffee Connection.
