A pair of candidate forums will be held in Indianola in the coming weeks, one for the Indianola City Council Candidates and another for the Indianola School Board candidates. The city council forum will take place in the Black Box Theater in the Kent Campus Center at Simpson College on October 1st from 7-8:30pm. The Indianola City Council has three contested seats and six total candidates, with two candidates for each open position. The Indianola School Board forum will take place at the Indianola Country Club on October 17th at 7pm. The Indianola School Board has four at-large positions with seven candidates vying for the spots.
