The Indianola School Board met in regular session Monday evening. The board approved the applicants to the School Improvement Advisory Committee, approved the process of refunding sales tax and general obligation bonds which will save the district approximately $200,000, receivde a report on summer school and the comprehensive school improvement plan, tabled a change to the student and parent handbook to better clarify the absence policy, and received an update from the board curriculum, facility, human resources, and finance committees.
