The Pleasantville volleyball team continued their winning ways Tuesday evening with a 3-1 win over visiting Ogden. The Trojans opened the match on a 9-0 run, only for Odgen to come back and take an 11-10 lead. Pleasantville was able to close out the set with a 25-15 win. Set 2 saw Pleasantville start hot, but Ogden rallied at the end of the set. Still, the Trojans were able to come away with a 25-17 win in the set. Ogden had the upper hand in set 3 with a 25-20 win to extend the match, but Pleasantville had no problems closing it out in set 4 with a 25-15 win. Trojan coach Joel Allman said it was all about keeping up the energy.

Pleasantville improves their record to 12-3 overall, and 5-1 in the West Central Conference. They’ll get a whole week off before their next match, when they host Van Meter next Tuesday, October 1st.
