With the Knoxville High School Homecoming right around the corner the Knoxville Music Boosters have once again teamed up with the Knoxville Hy-Vee for the annual Homecoming Tailgate Party. This year the event will also feature Full Service at the Pump at the Knoxville Hy-Vee Fast and Fresh Express Gas Station. Following the annual Homecoming Parade the boosters as well as Knoxville music students will be pumping customer’s gas and washing windshields for a free will donation. President of the Knoxville Music Boosters, Shannen Cahill tells KNIA/KRLS News the event is headed up by the middle school students and she says it’s always great to see them step up and take a leadership role. The tailgate will feature a meal of your choice of a pulled pork sandwich, burger or hot dog and potato salad and drink. Adults are $5, children are $3 and families are $12. All proceeds raised from the tailgate will go towards the Knoxville K-12 music programs.
