Several local groups are participating in the annual Healthiest State Initiative walk today in the region. Events will be held at Vermeer Corporation, in the Pella School District, Pella Regional Health Center and at Twin Cedars. The Annual Walk serves as a kick-off to Healthiest State Month, happening throughout October.
