The Knoxville Public Library is gearing up for a month of fun programs for the residents of Knoxville. Programs in October kick off with a DIY for Adults on Tuesday, October 8th. Heather Libby with the Library tells KNIA/KRLS News there are a lot of fun things going on in October and it starts with a Do It Yourself event where residents will be decorating mason jar pumpkins to usher in the fall season. Other programs featured in October include a film screening and discussion for the movie “The Public” on Thursday, October 10th, Lessons of the Holocaust with Brad Wilkening on Wednesday, October 23rd, a talk with Dr. Bob Leonard about his new book, “Deep Midwest: Midwestern Explorations on Sunday, October 27th and the Health and Medicine History Museum which will be on display at the library from October 29th through the 30th.
