The running game for the Indianola football team has been strong over the last several seasons including in 2019, and this year the passing game is beginning to catch up which is leading to Indianola victories. During their recent two-game win streak, Indians quarterback Brayden Wireman has completed 13-17 passes for 329 yards and 3 TD’s to go along with no interceptions, including a 90 yard strike to Peyton Boozell against Ottumwa. Those last several weeks, compared to the Indians passing game in the first several weeks of 26-62 through the air with no touchdowns. The success through the air has led to the Indians outscoring opponents 115-21 the last two weeks as well. The Indians will look to continue to improve their passing game against Mason City on the road tomorrow.
