The Pella football team looks to remain unbeaten in district play as they travel to take on South Tama this evening. The Little Dutch enter with the momentum of a 24-0 win over Knoxville in last week’s Red Rock Rivalry game, and are 3-2 on the season. The Trojans are 0-5 overall and fell at home to Newton last week 56-21. South Tama has faced their fair share of struggles the last few seasons, and have lost 20 in a row, dating back to Week 3 of 2017. Pella coach Jay McKinstrey says his team has a great opportunity for a win, and they need to take some steps forward this week.
Pella and South Tama kick things off at 7:30 this evening at South Tama County High School in Tama. Jon Mohwinkle and Randy Sikkema will broadcast the action live on the KRLS2 stream at kniakrls.com with a pregame show beginning at 6:30.
