The Indianola City Council meets in regular session this evening. Mayor Kelly Shaw will read two proclamations declaring October 16th as Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce Day, and declaring October as Community Planning Month. The council will consider a resolution on an amendment to the 2020 budget, hold public hearings on a plat amendment, a right-of-way vacation, and vacation of an alley. They will consider a resolution in support of the bond issue for the Warren County Courthouse in November, discuss street and stormwater improvements, and consider a potential zoning amendment before going into closed session to discuss the sale or purchase of real estate and to discuss litigation. The meeting begins at 6pm in the city council chambers at Indianola City Hall.
