The PCM Mustangs head to Urbandale tonight to take on the undefeated and fifth ranked Des Moines Christian Lions in a potential Class 2A District 8 Championship game. Tonight’s game will be a cold blustery affair as temperatures could be below 40 by game time with winds expected to be close to 15 mph. PCM Head Coach Greg Bonnett knows if his team wants to win tonight they will need to be able to run the ball as well as hold on to it. Bonnett says if his guys can hold onto the football he is confident they can come out with a win and another district championship. The windy cold conditions could help out the PCM defense as they attempt to slow down the Lion’s senior quarterback Jackson Waring who comes into tonight’s contest with over 1200 yards passing, 19 touchdowns and only one interception. The Mustangs and Lions will kick things off from Urbandale at 7 pm.
