Indianola Parks and Recreation has turned off the water to several parks due to the cold weather, with Barker Park, Buxton Park, the Dog Park, Memorial Park, and Pickard Park. All city parks and restrooms will have the water shut off for the winter on October 15th, and electricity will be shut off at park shelters. Park shelters can be reserved year round; however, restrooms and electricity are available from approximately April 15 – Oct 15.
