Both Tulip City high schools are preparing for their fall drama productions.

The Pella Christian Theatre Troupe will open its 70th theatre season with Disney’s newest musical, Newsies, Oct. 31, Nov. 1 & 2 at 7:00 p.m. at the Vermeer Auditorium. Having just been released to the general public, Pella Christian will be only the 4th high school in Iowa to perform the show. Reserved tickets are no longer sold in the school office but are available for purchase on-line beginning October 21st at https://pchstt.booktix.com/ . Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for students (costing $2 more at the door).

Pella High School students will perform Almost, Maine for three shows November 14th through 16th, which Director Suzi Jones says is one of the most popular acts in high schools across the country.
