The Indianola Chamber of Commerce is celebrating tomorrow’s “Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce Day” by holding an open house. President and CEO of the Indianola Chamber of Commerce Brenda Easter tells KNIA News the open house is important because often it allows a face or voice to be put to a name.
“It means a lot for us to meet people in person, a lot of times we just get to talk to people on the phone. And I think it’s important for people to really realize all the important work that we do. Sometimes we are behind the scenes and you don’t really know how much of a driving force the chamber is. Not that it’s important for credit, but it’s important to know that any local chamber is really here by virtue of the businesses support.”
The open house will be tomorrow from 9am to 3pm at the chamber office, with refreshments provided.
