The Indianola football team will make the trip to Waukee this evening for Week 8 action. Indianola enters with an overall record of 5-2 while Waukee is 4-3. Each team is 3-0 in Class 4A District 6. An Indian victory would clinch them the outright district title, while a Waukee win would set up a wild Week 9.

Each team has a win streak entering tonight’s game. Indianola has won four in a row while Waukee has won three in a row. Indians coach Eric Kluver says his team must play top-notch football against a talented Waukee team.

Tonight’s game kicks off at 7:00 in Waukee Stadium. Jon Mohwinkle and Rick Wilson will broadcast the action on 94.3 KNIA, beginning with a pregame show at 6:30.
