The Knoxville Noon Kiwanis is bringing “The Snow Queen” to Knoxville with this year’s edition of the Missoula Children’s Theatre. “The Snow Queen” is a classic story of the struggles between good and evil and is an original musical production based on the original Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale. Auditions for the production will be held at Celebrate Community Church on Monday October 21st at 3:45 p.m. Dave Garcia with the Kiwanis tells KNIA/KRLS News the show is open to children of all ages from all over Marion County. Garcia says children interested in participating just need to show up on Monday and be prepared to go with the flow. He says Monday is called an audition but really it’s just a chance for the directors to get the kids together and find out which roles fit them best. Rehearsals will be held every evening next week following Monday’s auditions with the two performances to be held on Saturday, October 26th at 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. This is the 9th year the Knoxville Noon Kiwanis has brought Missoula Children’s Theatre to Knoxville.
