The PCM Mustangs will take on the Clarke Indians in Monroe tonight as the Mustangs look to rebound following a tough loss a week ago to Des Moines Christian. Following the loss the Mustangs currently sit 17th in the Class 2A RPI and do not control their own destiny when it comes to post season play. The Mustangs will have to beat Clarke tonight and get a win on the road against Centerville next week to keep their playoff hopes alive. Head Coach Greg Bonnett says the only thing his Mustangs can do is win out to give themselves a chance. Bonnett says there is always speculation as to if they will be in or be out of the postseason but he doesn’t think anyone will truly know until the final whistle blows on the season. The Mustangs will be with out senior lineman Jace Smith and Seth Griener for tonight’s contest as Smith is still recovering from an injury and Griener is serving a one game suspension for being ejected in last weeks game for punching. The Mustangs and the Indians will get things kicked off from Monroe tonight at 7 pm.
