The Pleasantville football team will try to return to their winning ways this evening when they host Interstate 35. The Trojans are 4-3 overall and 1-2 in Class 1A District 7. For the first time this season, they have lost consecutive games. The Roadrunners have the same overall record, but have a game up on the Trojans in district play at 2-1.

While Pleasantville’s district title hopes are gone, I-35 is still in contention for the title. Pleasantville coach Mack Jorth says the Roadrunners will present many challenges to his team, and they’ll need to execute much better than they have the last two weeks.

Tonight’s game is scheduled for a 7:00 kickoff at Pleasantville High School. Nick Patterson and Ron Danks will broadcast the action on the KNIA3 stream, beginning with a 6:30 pregame show.
