The Knoxville Public Library will host a “Lawyers in Libraries” event Tuesday at the library located at 213 E Montgomery St from 6 pm to 7 pm. A free presentation on “Writing Wills” will be featured during the event. Dr. Heather Libby with the library tells KNIA/KRLS News anyone who attends will be able to learn about the basics of Wills and Trust from local legal experts. Dr. Libby says the event will feature a one hour presentation about how to make sure your affairs are in order. “Lawyers in Libraries” is a joint effort by The Iowa State Bar  Association, the State Library of Iowa, Iowa Legal Aid and the Polk County Volunteer Lawyers Project to help provide free legal information to the public as part of National Pro Bono Week which runs from October 21st through the 24th.
