The PCM Mustangs took down the Clarke Indians 35-0 Friday night for their last regular season home game of the year. The Mustangs would get a 65 yard touchdown run on their first Mustang offensive play by Sage Burns to give the Mustangs the quick lead. With the running style of offense by Clarke the time would go quick throughout the game with PCM adding another touchdown on the first offensive snap of the second quarter on a 63 yard touchdown run by Aiden Anderson. PCM would get another score from Burns and a 61 yard touchdown reception by Jacob Van Winkle to put PCM up 27-0 at the half. Both teams would stall out throughout the second half before PCM would score on a six yard touchdown pass from Stock to Boell to put the Mustangs up 33-0 in the 3rd quarter. A fumbled snap in the endzone by Clarke would give the Mustangs a safety and the 35-0 win. Coach Greg Bonnett tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he was happy his Mustangs got out to the quick start. Bonnett says getting a quick lead puts your mind at ease and allows his team to play the game they want to play and not the game Clarke wanted them to play. PCM will now travel to Centerville to wrap the regular season and hope they can do enough to earn a playoff berth.
