The Pella City Council received a presentation for the upcoming Wonder Spelen miracle playground project at their meeting this week. An engineer working with the Pella Kiwanis gave an overview of proposed upgrades to Kiwanis Park, which includes an All-Inclusive Playground and other enhancements to parking and restroom facilities. The City of Pella is matching up to $320,000 of funding for the project estimated to cost nearly $865,000, with the Pella Kiwanis fundraising the difference.
