A Knoxville City Council Candidate Forum will be held tomorrow at 6:30 pm on the second floor of the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum. The five candidates who are currently running for the three available spots on the Knoxville City Council will all be participating in the forum. Scott Ziller has informed KNIA/KRLS that he is respectfully withdrawing from the race due to potential conflicts. He adds that “there is a very capable slate of candidates, and that he hopes everyone will get out and vote November 5.” His name will remain on the ballot. The forum is open to the public but for those who can’t attend, the forum will also be broadcast live on FM 95.3 KNIA.
