Auditions for the Missoula Children’s Theatre’s production of “The Snow Queen” will be held today at Celebrate Community Church in Knoxville at 3:45 p.m. The Knoxville Noon Kiwanis is bringing the Missoula Children’s Theatre to Knoxville for the 9th straight year. Dave Garcia with the Kiwanis tells KNIA/KRLS News how rehearsals will be held each night this week with younger kids getting done around 5:45 p.m. and older kids staying until 8:15 p.m. Garcia says Knoxville is lucky to have such great community groups that help bring in food so the children can have supper while rehearsing. Garcia says the directors of the Missoula Children’s Theatre tell him that Knoxville is one of the only communities that provides a meal for their kids. “The Snow Queen” is a classic story of the struggles between good and evil and is an original musical production based on the original Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale. Rehearsals will be held every evening this week following tonight’s auditions with the two performances to be held on Saturday, October 26th at 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. For more information contact the Knoxville Noon Kiwanis.
