Mistakes cost the Melcher-Dallas Volleyball Squad its first round class 1A regional match with Southeast Warren on Tuesday night as the Saints fell in three sets 25-20, 25-16, and 25-15. The Saints were called several times for a double hit and Coach Jesyka Nolte told KNIA Sports that plus being a step slow all night cost her team. Grace Overgaard had six kills to lead Melcher-Dallas, the Saints serving was on point as Riley Enfield was 12/12 with three aces and Emma Heaberlin went 10/10. Melcher-Dallas finishes 14-8 and its first winning season for the first time since 2013.
