Knoxville elementary students and their families will get the chance to learn more about fire safety, internet safety and CPR as well as enjoy a sausage and pancake dinner during the Knoxville Elementary PTO’s Fall Family Fun Night tonight from 5 to 7 pm. The fun night will be held at the Knoxville Fire Department located at 305 S. 3rd St. Vehicles and equipment from the Knoxville Police Department as well as Knoxville Fire and Rescue will be on hand for families to look at and ask questions about. The Knoxville Public Library will be in attendance and reading stories to children as well as Sparky the Fire Dog and McGruff the Crime Dog. The first 450 children in attendance will also receive a free new book. The KNIA/KRLS Big Red Radio will be on hand playing music and making announcements.
