The Knoxville Public Library’s Friends of the Library Book Sale starts today and continues through Saturday. The sale will run from noon to 8 pm today, 10am to 5 pm Friday and 10 am to noon on Saturday. The book sale will be held in the library’s Community Room with hardcover books for sale for $2 dollars each, the soft cover books go for a dollar each, and kids books are between 25 and 50 cents. On Saturday, attendees will be able to fill a bag of books for between $2 to $5.  Proceeds from the sale are used by the Friends of the Library to help pay for things the library needs throughout the year that are not already budgeted for.
