The Knoxville Optimist Club will hold their annual “Treats In The Trunk” event tomorrow from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Knoxville City Parking Lot across the street from the Knoxville Police Department. The first 100 children who participate will receive a free pumpkin. The event allows children, especially younger children to have fun and to trick or treat in a safe environment while also playing some games. Candy and games will be provided by over 50 Knoxville organizations taking part in the event. The KNIA/KRLS “Lil” Big Red Radio will be on hand playing music, making announcements and handing out candy.
