The City of Indianola held an open house for the first draft of their comprehensive plan at the Indianola YMCA Tuesday evening. The plan detailed the future of Indianola, and Community and Economic Development Director Charlie Dissell tells KNIA News some of the biggest feedback points included the need for more parks, detailing where the roads will be, and what direction the housing growth will take. Dissell also said the next step will be to take the feedback from the open house, continue to work on the plan with the steering committee and city staff, and eventually put it in front of the city council to be voted on.
