KNIA/KRLS held their Knoxville City Council Candidate Forum Tuesday evening at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum. All five candidates: John Gotta, Jyl DeJong, Mike Conner Jr. Justin Plum and Jerrold Jordan participated in the forum and had a chance to answer questions and share their views and opinions in front of a live audience. The candidates answered questions as to why they wanted to be elected and what they would bring to the city if elected. Dr. Bob Leonard moderated the forum, which was broadcast live on 95.3 KNIA. Approximately 40 people attended the form. Three seats are up for election for the Knoxville city council with the election to be held Tuesday, November 5th.
