Central men’s golfer Nick Walker had a consistent performance Monday at the Atlantic Invitational in Jupiter, Florida. Walker shot a 75 in the first round for the Dutch, who currently stand in third place with a score of 313. Central had three other golfers in the tournament. Ethan Loafman shot 78, Wyatt Crosby had 82 and Lucas Wendel shot 86. The tournament comes to a close Tuesday morning.

Central men’s soccer goalkeeper Andrew Mathys has been named the American Rivers Conference Defensive Performer of the Week for the. This is the third time this season he has received the honor. He made a total of six saves in Central’s games last week, including a shutout at Coe on Saturday. In those two games, he played every minute.

Central has a chance to win its first conference title in program history when they host Buena Vista Tuesday at noon.
