An informational meeting was Monday concerning the upcoming referendum on the Warren County Justice Center. Warren County Supervisor Aaron DeKock presented information on the cost cutting he has achieved since taking over as the boards representative on the planning committee, the building as it sits as currently planned, the input gained from the users of the building, and how he pledges to offset the cost in taxes if the referendum passes. DeKock said during the meeting this bond referendum is not a perfect solution, but simply the best that the county has to work with compared to a smaller building or change in location. The referendum will be voted on November 5th.
