Central College’s Flying Pans Steel Band will present “Steel Graffiti” over three days to kick off an array of music performances in November. “Steel Graffiti” will run Friday through Sunday on the Hoekstra Family Stage in Douwstra Auditorium. It begins at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 1-2, and 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3. The performance will feature a Caribbean-rock production, with lights, video, special effects and energetic music. Cost is $10 for adults, $8 senior citizens and free with a Central ID. The second ALMA Concert of the fall is set for 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, in the Recital Hall of Cox-Snow Music Center. Cost is $5 or free with a Central ID. A Jazz Band Concert will take place at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, in Cox-Snow, while the College Community Orchestra Concert is set for 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24. Both events are free and open to the public.
