With as great of a season that Knoxville’s Norah Pearson has had, making the state meet and doing well would cap off one of the best freshmen seasons in recent memory for a Knoxville Cross Country runner. Pearson comes into the State Meet on Saturday as the ninth ranked runner in class 3A, and the highest ranked freshman in 3A. Coaches Micheal and Mikayla Splavec are not putting any undue pressure on her, in fact they are telling Norah, to just do what Norah Pearson does.
