Another round of early season snow impacted the region before the calendar turned to November across south central Iowa. Snow largely impacted those in the eastern half Marion County, with 2.5″ recorded in Pella and 2″ in Knoxville at the KNIA/KRLS Studios in both communities. That means for many residents, more than three inches of snow fell before kids had the chance to trick or treat. Conditions will remain chilly this evening for community Halloween events this evening, with wind chills hovering around 20 degrees. Stay tuned to KNIA/KRLS for the latest weather information.
