The American Rivers Conference announced its fall sports all-academic team Thursday, and 54 athletes from Central College were named to the list. To qualify, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in academic standing, achieve at least a 3.5 GPA, and compete at the varsity level.

The football team had the most selections from Central with 10. Women’s tennis had five and women’s golf had four, both of which are the most in those respective sports in the league.

In total, 19 seniors from Central were honored, which is the maximum possible number.
