With three games left in the regular season, the Central College football team is positioned to chase its first conference championship in a decade.  But the Dutch must win back-to-back-to-back games against three teams also at the top of the standings in order to do so.

With Wartburg and Coe looming over the next two weeks, Central heads to Indianola today to take on rival Simpson.  The Dutch are 6-1 overall and 4-1 in league play, while the Storm are 4-3 and 3-2, having narrowly lost to both the Knights and Kohakws.  Last year, it took a last minute TD for Central to beat Simpson 17-16 in Pella.

Today’s game will kick at 1:00 at Buxton Stadium in Indianola, and Trevor Castle and George Wares will call the action on 92.1 KRLS, beginning with pregame coverage at 12:35.
